This house has a long history: after admission to the school of economics at the University of Chile, was the arrival of the dictatorship, torture house and operations center of the DINA. Over this period, the house passed to the State and since then has been at the hands of SERVIU. And so for 10 years during which he was abandoned completely inert ...... then two years ago, these people came and squatted, met with the accumulated rubbish with terrible traces of what was done there: hoods in the underground wiring for voltages very, very high, boxes designed for intercommunication between the various houses of torture at the time !!!.... this was transformed by introducing the project that we call a fight.
Serviu From the beginning, made a demand, but the trial was postponed and relaxed during the two years the house has been well run and legitimacy in the community:
about 200 people circulate through the house every day, every
days of the year.
Today the house is with imminent eviction, where resistance has been felt by colleagues who work and support this space recovered (collective, social organizations, cultural groups and artistic companies.)
